In 1921, Margaret Sanger founded the American Birth Control League, an organization that provided education to women on sex and health. These were some of the things the law had shielded from women, but also some of the things Margaret Sanger was most passionate about. Eventually the American Birth Control League turned into the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, an organization that is still around today. |
